For
Harrisburg, PA, the Aqua Zoom camera was the technology
of choice to help evaluate the condition of more than
56,000 linear feet of interceptor sewer system pipes,
ranging in diameter from 18-60". Work involved
transferring and updating existing GIS maps into a Canalis
software database, recording and analysis of video inspections
by PACP certified technicians, and a comprehensive report
with manhole and pipeline condition ratings as per WRc
standards.
In
addition to getting considerable cost savings over traditional
methods, the Harrisburg Authority's Executive Director
Thomas J. Mealy said, "...the Aqua Zoom camera
