| With
zoom technology, InfraMetrix can provide you with the
means to rapidly gather valuable information about the
actual condition of your collection systems. Using this
information, you can implement prioritized cleaning,
in-line camera inspection, repairs and rehabilitation
programs.
Our
trained technical field staff quickly record the structural
and operational conditions of your systems. Through
our surveys we have determined that typically about
25 percent of the average system or less requires cleaning
and in-line CCTV/scanning inspection. With the InfraMetrix
service, you are always assured of investing your public
works funds in the right places.
| Confined
space entry, cleaning and flow control are not
required prior to inspection. |
| How
it works |
| + |
Entire
service is fast and efficient – a
two-man crew can complete 20 to 25 manholes per
day – over 5,000 feet of pipe. |
| + |
Manholes
and pipes are inspected from the surface level using
a video camera with a tele-objective zoom lens. |
| + |
Camera
is lowered from road top to view all connecting
pipes to a distance of 50 ft for 6-in pipe up to
700 ft for larger pipelines. |
| + |
Service
provides for video recording of the manhole or other
vertical structures on graphically-indexed CD-ROMs |
| + |
Zoom camera system is fully adaptable for any field
conditions — it permits the use of a crane
for depth, tripod or all-terrain vehicles for difficult
access manholes. |
| + |
We
prepare a comprehensive report and ODBC database
including inventory and conditions using NASSCO
rating standards. |
